12 nationalités étaient au départ représentant les 27 équipages engagés ... Belle représentation ; merci à toux ceux qui ont répondu présent à l'appel de cette édition 2013 qui nous l'espérons sera un grand millésime

Parmi les carrosses présents notons :

- une MG TA de 1939 !!!!  courageux le garçon qui va piloter cet engin ... heureusement cette année pas de cols à 2'800, 2'500 etc. mais quand même il y aura fort à faire !!!

- deux autos au patronyme de légende ... FERRARI   la superbe DINO d'Henry T. déjà vu sur le Genève Cannes  et la TESTAROSSA d'un nouveau venu .. Sergey  venant de Russie

- une magnifique Jaguar XK140 de 1959 ; là aussi courageux le pilote .. bien dans l'esprit des grands rallyes dea années 60

et une auto que vous ne pourrez trouver sur une ligne de départ de rallye qu'au Genève Cannes ...

- la très surprenante et peu connue (le mot est faible !!) MOSKOVICH 408 (à découvrir dans le catalogue photo ci-dessous) produite par le constructeur soviétique MZMA entre 1964 et 1967 et par AZLK entre 1967 et 1976 et "agitée" par un moteur de 1300 cm3 et produisant 50 CH !! "plus de valeur que son prix" tel était le slogan de la marque à l'époque.

Celle qui nous vient sur ce Genève Cannes est de 1970 pilotée par nos amis lettons Valery et Andrey 

A few days from the start; for sure all of you are polishing their favorite ‘’ Lady’’ to face the 5th GCC !
We are very proud of all the cars registered to date. Among them a special mention for some rather unique and exotic models.
The MGTA 1939 will require Bertrand keller to be very fit and his wife Christine certainly very…patient.
Ferrari will be strongly represented by a newcomer, Sergey Sidorov from Russia with his Testarossa and the Dino of Father and Daughter Teysseyre.
The beautiful Jaguar XK 150 OF 1959 will certainly be hard work for his pilot but what a wonderful memory of the 1960 rallies. 

And finally a car you will not find anywhere else than on the start line of the Geneva Cannes Classic…

Very surprising and little known Moskovich 408 (photo below) produced by the Soviet MZMA manufacturer between 1964 and 1967 and AZLK between 1967 and 1976. The car is fitted with a 1300 cm3 engine delivering 50 HP!
